Bye Bye Mustang

So, the old mustang has fallen victim to the Cash For Clunkers program. It served a long and punishing term under my hands, and served me well. At 280,000 Miles, it was running very well: started easily, had exactly the same power it always did, ran smoothly, and handled like a champ. It's sad to see it go.

upholstery

Well. I had it re-upholstered a couple of years ago, thinking that I might try to keep it running until an electric is available, maybe 2012. Check out how well the seats held out. Only two years of use! If your interested in this level of work, visit this guy: Link coming soon!

Suspension upgrades

You may ask, why did you do this? Why did you put so much effort in to this almost worthless car? Good question, sadly I don't have the answer. Obsessive compulsive disorder perhaps? In any event the performance improved quite a bit after doing this upgrade:

• Full length subframe
• Tokico Shocks / Struts
• Polyurethane bushings
• Stiffer springs
• K member brace
• Strut tower brace
